The Great Gatsby is in theaters today! We absolutely adore fashion from the 1920′s and envy Carrie Mulligan for getting to play dress up in such fabulous clothes. Vintage style is all the rage right now but how do you wear it without coming off as a costume? We thought we’d help answer that by putting together an inspiration board for a 1920′s wedding theme. We recently released a big new collection of bridal dresses. We weren’t planning to add any new bridesmaid dresses just yet but our designer, Tak, got so inspired he couldn’t wait until the next scheduled collection! He absolutely loves vintage dresses and likes to pair that design aesthetic with a slightly modern feel. He also added two new skirt options for the Georgette line, a tulip skirt and a handkerchief skirt. We hope you love these new styles as much as we do!

Our designer, Tak, has been busy the last couple of months designing our Fall collection and we are happy to say that they are all  beautiful.

We had an excellent photo shoot this week. We had our trusted and talented photographer, Todd Tyler,  Helena Pham for make-up, and our lovely model this time is Monica.

We added new bridesmaid styles to our Georgette Collection and new silhouettes to pair them with.  Our bridal dresses for this collection can only be described as “romantic” by incorporating lace and organza fabrics for a soft and feminine look.

The new collection will be on our website within the next few weeks.

Our last inspiration board for Emerald was so popular, we’ve had a special request from a customer. She was having a hard time putting together accessories for her bridesmaids Periwinkle dresses. We paired it with gold accessories and we think it looks lovely! Hopefully it will help inspire a few people.

Pantone recently announced their color of the year and the winner is Emerald! This is a lovely dark and vibrant green that is sure to stand out in a crowd. Aria just happens to offer an Emerald color in our Dupioni. Our Peacock in Silk Shantung is also in the Emerald family. Just in case you’re having a hard time picturing how Emerald will work for your wedding, we’ve put together an inspiration board. Feast your eyes on the gloriousness that is Emerald!
