Aria is a Los Angeles based design and manufacturing company where you can feel confident in ordering American made silk bridesmaid dresses, wedding dresses, flowergirl dresses and maternity bridesmaid dresses all designed with pride and integrity. We also offer coordinating groom and groomsmen accessories such as neckties and cummerbunds. As the designer of ten-year-old Aria, president/creative director Tak Hau virtually breathes sophistication into a category that was crying out for modern, sleek designs: the bridesmaid dress. Luckily for bridesmaids everywhere, Tak has been designing cocktail dresses since the late 80s under his own name and other labels. His designs sold to leading retailers like Barney’s, Nordstrom and Caché, just to name a few. Based on the concept of customization, Aria presents the most current trends in fashion for the bridesmaids. With a dizzying array of interchangeable necklines and skirts to flatter all body types, and a range of 70 colors in silk fabrics, as well as cottons, dresses for bridesmaids suddenly look hip. |

In addition to a well-developed website, www.ariadress.com, with sales to brides and bridesmaids all over the world, brides and bridesmaids who are not able to visit our showroom in Los Angeles, we offer a "try-on program", in which you are able to easily request that your favorite design(s) be sent to your home for consideration up close. Please see here for more details. In fall of 2009, Aria introduced its first bridal collection for Spring/Summer 2010. Presented at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the pure silk wedding gowns adhere to Tak’s concepts of style and fit, quality and affordability. Both collections are entirely made in the U.S.A. in Los Angeles to maintain quality control. Aria's wedding dress collection can now be seen in a boutique near you. (please see our list of salons here) Exhibiting early design talent, Tak attended Brooks College, Long Beach, CA, for fashion design, and was named a Rising Star by the California Apparel News (CAN). Friends often asked him to make them a dress, which grew into a small business for private clients and boutiques. He has also supplied styles for television shows and movies. In 2001, Tak launched Ariadress online and with a showroom in Los Angeles. There was such immediate success for his very with-it, figure flattering bridesmaid dress collection, that he’s now gone down the aisle in over 10,000 modern weddings. To make color and fabric selection easier, swatches will be sent to you upon request at no charge.
